By focusing on initiatives that empower residents, promote cultural exchange, and improve access to essential services, hotels can contribute to a more provision of job opportunities to local community in order to rise their life. So, ZAN UNIQUE TOUR AND TRAVEL,we participate in :-

Partnership for Community Development: We collaborate with the Zanzibar Life Steppers Association (ZLSA) to support community development projects in the southern region of Unguja Zanzibar where the company is located. Together with ZLSA, we work towards creating opportunities, building resilience, and enhancing the quality of life for local communities.

Community Development: We contribute to community development by supporting education initiatives at Paje Primary and Secondary School by providing resources for English clubs and rewarding students for academic achievements. These efforts aim to improve living standards and educational opportunities for residents of Paje Village.

Education and Employment Initiatives: ZAN UNIQUE TOUR AND TRAVEL has initiated a tourism training program in Paje Village in collaboration with the Institute of Tourism Zanzibar to provide local youth with skills for the hospitality industry. This program aims to create employment opportunities for skilled individuals within the community and reduce reliance on external workforce.

Cultural Exchange Programs: We are ncouraging guests to participate in voluntary activities that can foster cultural exchange and mutual understanding between visitors and locals, promoting social cohesion.

Community Development Initiatives Hotels in Zanzibar can engage in social initiatives such as supporting schools, health clinics, and community centers to improve access to essential services for local residents.

Capacity Building: We help in building capacity of local communities in investing in skill development through sending the local community in training programs not only benefits employees but also enhances the overall quality of service provided by hotels, leading to improved customer satisfaction.
