Ngezi Forest

The Ngezi Forest Reserve is located in the Micheweni District of the North Pemba Region on Pemba Island, Tanzania. Established in 1959, it covers an area of 1,440 hectares (3,600 acres) and consists mostly of primary forest. The reserve is situated in the north-western tip of Pemba and borders several villages as well as the Pemba Channel.
